Production Scheduler/ ERP Administrator

REPORTS TO: General Manager of Manufacturing

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule all work in plant.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Create and maintain a work schedule to build and deliver all products and services on time.

Setup and utilize scheduling software (Job Boss)

Plan and set weekly milestones so as work will be completed on time in the most cost effective manner.

Calculate resource loading (people and equipment).

Monitor and document hours for work in progress.

Create weekly reports to update customers and plant of current job status.

Calculate any bottle necks in advance and recommend solutions.

Establish and create resource loading priority lists.

Alert GM of Mfg. when milestones are not being met.

Alert GM of Mfg. as soon as possible when quoted deliveries will not meet delivery date and report reasons why.

Monitor people, equipment, suppliers and outside contractors (resources) so as to consistently schedule and project delivery dates.

Work with leaders, shift foremen and department managers to establish priorities.

Calculate average nonscheduled job hours and plan for it.

Communicate to leaders work orders, work to be done and required delivery date.
